Last week Robert and I went to a local shopping center and offered to pray for people and give them a "spiritual gift" such as healing or an encouraging word. One young Hungarian woman asked us repeatedly what we were doing and why. She asked, "So if I have back pain, what are you going to do?"  "We are going to pray and ask Jesus to take the pain away," we responded. "But don't you have to believe in order for those things to work," she asked. "No, not at all. We see people get healed quite often who don't believe. Just let us pray for you and see what happens," we responded. I then prayed a short prayer for her back and she responded with, "This is scary...I don't feel any more pain." Our conversation went on and then she freaked out when I asked her if she had pain in her right ankle or foot. " How did you know that?" was her response. Naomi ended the evening with joyful tears running down her face as God ’ s presence was made very real.
