The frog lived inside of the deep dark water pit on his lily pad, glad to be in a familiar place. It was cold, dark, and wet, but still it was well known. Every day he would go through the same motio ns: morning news, business meetings, the latest gossip, social media posts, fast-food, evening sitcoms, and the latest movies on his ribbitflix account. It was not an exciting or adventurous life, but it was familiar. Last week Robert and I went to a local shopping center and offered to pray for people and give them a "spiritual gift" such as healing or an encouraging word. One young Hungarian woman asked us repeatedly what we were doing and why. She asked, "So if I have back pain, what are you going to do?"  "We are going to pray and ask Jesus to take the pain away," we responded. "But don't you have to believe in order for those things to work," she asked. "No, not at all. We see people get healed quite often who don't believe. Just let us pray for you and see what happens," we responded. I then prayed a short prayer for her back and she responded with, "This is scary...I don't feel any more pain." Our conversation went on and then she freaked out when I asked her if she had pain in her right ankle or foot. " How did you know that?" was her response. She came with me for an evening of prophetic ministry where I watched a room full of uninterested young people changed into enthusiastic participants as God began speaking through me revealing not just things about their past, present and future, but also about their hearts (1 Cor. 14:24, 25). Naomi ended the evening with joyful tears running down her face as God ’ s presence was made very real. Last Sunday we had our first house group in Rotterdam. It was great in that there were people not just from Rotterdam, but also from Zeewolde and Middelberg the latter which is in the south of the Netherlands in Zeeland. Our guest from Middelberg had a lot of pain in her knee and her leg. After praying for her all the pain left and she can bend it without any pain. What is also special about this is that she does not have a Christian background at all. Sometimes it seems like non-Christians get healed quicker and easier than Christians. I don't completely understand that or mean to be able to explain that, I just love to see people get healed through prayer.

We got to know Greg Kormany a few weeks ago when he drove us the 2 1/2 hours from Budapest to Debrecen, Hungary. The conversation was great that we had in the car. He asked us why healings did not take place in Hungary. We told him to watch and wait because there would be a lot of healings in Debrecen that weekend. There were!! During our weekend in Debrecen, Greg prayed for 3 or 4 people all of whom were healed. Last Sunday, he was telling friends of his in the sauna at his sport club what had all happened. They did not believe him and thought he had come into a weird sect or something. He offered to pray for their healing if they had pain anywhere. They were not only healed when he prayed for them, but God also gave him some accurate prophetic words about their lives. AWESOME!! This is our goal, not only to demonstrate God's power to heal and speak, but to light a passion and fire in other people's lives to go do the same. The weekend in Debrecen was a huge success. ...

Tuesday one of my friends told me, "my nose has been bleeding for days now and it won't stop." I told him to give me his hand and I told the bleeding to stop in Jesus name. Since then, it has not bled once. Later that day, another person at the office I work out of told me that he has back pain that he will have the rest of his life. I offered to treat his back and to his astonishment the pain left. Today (three days later) he says that the pain has not returned. Also, on Wednesday I went with Hans de Boer to downtown Amsterdam where we got to pray for people on the street. Everyone we prayed for experienced something (pain leaving, a warmth, etc) in their bodies when we prayed for them. Also, yesterday, while buying some new shoes, I saw that the sales lady had just sprained her ankle. I prayed and it was not healed immediately, but I am glad that I offered to pray. My attitude is simply to pray and believe and perhaps not everybody will be healed every time, but a lot...
